Fantasy Flight Games Dust Tactics Tank Busters and Zombies are now available. I kind of like both of these box sets. I mean who doesn't like Nazi Zombies with big round spiky things. If you don't play Dust Tactics, you still might want to pick up the Zombies to go with AT-43 Oni, if you have them.

Dust Tactics, Punisher, Fireball
Here are some upcoming models from Fantasy Flight Games Dust Tactics line called the Punisher and Fireball. I kind of like these.
The Punisher is the heaviest walker the Allies have ever produced, with twin 155mm howitzers to pummel heavily armored walkers and a number of .50 cal and .30 cal machine guns to lay waste to enemy squads foolish enough to approach. The Fireball adheres to the Allies’ traditional strengths–speed, versatility, and lethal attacks at close range. Its deadly Napalm Thrower launches fiery doom at a greater range than ever before, and those fires can consume nearly any enemy unit in a single hit.

Dust Tactics, Heavy Infantry
There are some cool units coming out for the Dust Tactics game. The first unit for the Allies is called the Dust Tactics Red Devils and the German counter parts to these guys are called the Dust Tactics Heavy Recon Grenadiers. I really like the looks of both units, but some of the poses are a little weird.

The Russian Troopers aka Red Blok had the following stats
All were level 2 and weapons were basically the equivalent to the Americans
Degtyarev DP - Heavy Machine Gun - Range 4
TT-30 - Pistol - Range 2
PPS-42 - Sub Machine Gun - Range 3
Missile Launcher - Range 3
The Russian Walkers had the following stats

This is the same stats at the upcoming German Lothar
Cannon - Same stats as the German Ludwig.

Dust Tactics, TWC Dust Tactics
So I have been playing some dust tactics and was looking for ways to add some new figures to the game.
I got to thinking it would be cool to bring Captain America into the game and also the Rocketeers. Well part of the equation has been addressed. The fine folks at http://twc-dust-tactics.blogspot.com/ have created a few of the playing cards. The blog is definitely worth a look if you are into Dust Tactics.
There is one company that makes a pretty good Rocketeer called TinMan Miniatures.
Another cool company that makes quite a few Rocketmen is Pulp Figures. You can find them in the American section.
For Captain America you could go for the traditional look and pick up a hero clix or do a little conversion on figure. The best figure I have seen for conversion is Reaper Miniatures Sergeant Mack Torrey.

Dust Tactics, Deluxe Edition, BattleFoam
Here is a good video on what you can expect to get if you pick up the Dust Tactics Deluxe Edition. One of the cool things this guy did was also create a BattleFoam insert for the game box. Battlefoam also makes Dust Tactics inserts for their 432 bag (3 inserts for $54).

Dust Tactics, Comics, Dust Wars
When you purchase the box set of Dust Tactics, the game comes with a Dust Wars comic book. I hadn't read any of these before and thought the artwork was outstanding. The various stories give you some background to the setting. It does make playing the game a little more interesting. I didn't realize that basically AT-43 was more or less a copy of the Dust Wars comics set in the future. If things pan out, there are going to be some pretty cool troopers for this game.

Dust Tactics, Upcoming Units
Here are some pictures of upcoming Dust Tactic figures shot by Haakon during the Monde du Jeu. I really like the look of some of these. The apes and the zombies are a nice touch. I was thinking about picking up some of the AT-43 Oni for zombie types. The powersuits and powersuit walker are pretty slick. The AT-43 Red Blok are going to be my Soviet troopers for right now.

Dust Tactics, Decals
There are a bunch of Dust Tactics stickers that are available in 1/35th and 1/48th scale from the Dust Game website. Currently the Dust Tactics game only includes Allies and Axis figures/vehicles, but from the looks of these will probably soon include both Soviet and Japanese figures.

Dust Tactics, New Infantry Sets
There are 4 new infantry sets released for Dust Tactics. The retail price on these range from $14.95 to $19.95. I haven't picked these up yet, but the figures look as good as the original figures the box set came with.
