Trench2114 Heer Infantry

John from Trench2114 sent some review samples of the new Trench2114 Heer Infantry.  I have to say, I think these are his best work yet.  Loads of detail and cool trench coats.  What's not to like.  Unlike the previous release of the Panzer troopers, you get 5 different variations of the Heer light infantry vs 3 of the Panzer troopers. The figures I received only had a little bit of flash on the bottom of the bases.  Basically no prep.  They have a small emblem on their helmet, but I think I need a different camera to zoom in on the detail.  These should be fun to paint up.

A blister pack blister contains (10) Heer light infantry, consisting of 8 basic infantry (3 different poses), an Officer and a soldier with heavy weapon for $5.50.

John has a bunch of free rules to use with these figures.  He also has a little background history.

Trench 2114 Indiegogo

John, over at Trench 2114 has started an Indiegogo campaign.  He is trying to raise $500 so as to get miniatures out quicker. All the Perks are very reasonable and will certainly help John achieve his $500 goal.

John has also uploaded a bunch of files to his rules section of the website including mass combat rules.

Below are the upcoming Heer infantry.

Trench 2114, Panzer Troopers Infantry

Here are some pictures of the Trench 2114 Panzer Troopers Infantry. The troopers are a good size for 15mm and would fit in nicely with others. They are certainly bigger than some, but are also pretty heavily armored.

This blister contains enough Panzer Heavy infantry to field two platoons of 15mm troops (10).  So your paying about $1 a fig.   Based on the size of the figures, it is a pretty good deal.  There is certainly a lot of metal.  There are 3 different poses.  My pack came with 2 commanders and 4 each of the other 2.

Overall the figures I received would probably get an "A".  There was almost no flash to speak of.  The only flash was on the under side of the base.  The guns are nice and big and shouldn't break.  There is loads of detail that will not get washed out when you paint the figures.

Trench 2114, Heer light infantry

Recently I received some samples of the Trench 2114 Panzer Troops.  The miniatures were clean, crisp and had limited flash, which only was on the bottom of the base.  I was really surprised how nice they looked compared to how I imagined they would look.  I will have some pictures up soon.

Here are some greens of the Trench2114 Heer light infantry.

I am really interested in seeing how these will compare size wise to the upcoming Clockwork Goblin Minis.  Hopefully people will be able to mix the two companies figures.

Trench 2114, Preorders

Just an FYI.  The Trench 2114 Panzer Troopers Infantry preorders are up.  For their initial orders they are lowering the blister price for two platoons (about 10-12 troopers) to just $9.00. That's roughly $1.50 less than they will be normally (starting on August 1st).

Also as a special thank you, anyone ordering during june and july will receive a free pdf copy of the 15mm mass combat rules once completed and before their available in any other form.

These should mix well with Clockwork Goblin Minis when they are released.

Trench 2114

Here is what looks to be a super cool game called Trench 2114.  You can check out the rules.

The setting is based 42 years after world war 3, the surviving or new "Neo Nations " of the world have reverted to a mentality along the line of their colonial ancestors as they fight to secure the few remaining resources on planet Earth. It is a tabletop game designed for 28-32mm miniatures, however they will also be making 15mm figures as well.

There looks to be 6 main factions including the Consulate (Has a Napoleon flavor), The Iron Will (German based), The Free State Alliance (NATO), Scavengers (Poor Countries), Conglomerate (Not sure) and Sosoei Tech (Robotic based maybe?).

They have a campaign running on Indiegogo to raise some capital.  I hadn't heard of that platform before.  If it isn't successful, I would suggest they use kickstarter.  Go check it out though.  They are only looking to raise $2,500.  Not much for a game.

Here are some 15mm Sculpts for The Iron Will.
