Khurasan Miniatures, TerraForce

Here are some renders of upcoming TerraForce troopers from Khurasan Miniatures known as the Corsair. The TerraForce uses power armour and an array of weapons to fight, and the basic MBS (main-battle soldier) is the Corsair. There will be a variety of poses and weapons options for the Terraforce superheavy infantry. The two corsairs shown here have "burners," and when they resort to this weapon, better stay out of their frontal arc! (These are prototypes and the final rocket/jetpack looks slightly different. The renders were created by Steve3d Expect these troopers out sometime next year.

  1. I like them, though they look quite a lot like the Orca Assault troopers. Not that that is a bad thing.

  2. It is refreshing to see chunky power armor over smooth and organically surfaced styles. Look forward to the results.

  7. not really impressed. Are these suppose to be robots or humans in power armor? With that kind of helmet you cant see a thing...

they look pretty boring all in all. Now that designers use computers for sculpting, it seems that most of the sculpts lose their "personality". Those weapons look ugly, movement in that armor would be clumsy... the sculptor should think the human anatomy more.

Most Khurasan minis are (99%) absolutely great, but...these really aren't going to my shopping list.

  8. have to add to my previous rant. Look how the model is holding the weapon? with two fingers from the clip. How does one aim with that thing? I'm pretty sure that no army would ever design that kind of gear.

  10. Hi Mike,

Remember these are 15mm and what you are seeing is pretty large. I think the detail, if it can be cast will look fantastic. The overall sculpt might not be your cup of tea, but I lie them.

  11. Yes, these will take the place of the Orion troops from blue moon I was going to order. I'll use these for my grizzlys for starship troopers. I just hope one of the versions will have a rotary cannon.
