3D Breed - March To Hell - 15mm WWII

True Scale Space Marines | Primaris

GW finally came out with true Scale Space Marines known as Primaris.  The Primaris marines are much taller than their previous space marine counterparts and look fantastic next to Imperial troopers where they tower over them.  I believe the Space Marines were supposed to be around 7 feet tall, so now they look the part.

The downside to the Primaris is the fact that they are now considered (At least by GW) to be too big to fit into a Rhino for transport and too big for the Land Raider.  That doesn't make much sense because Terminators can ride in them and they are way bulkier than the Primaris troopers at present.

At least right now you will have to purchase a Primaris Repulser to move these guys around the battle field.  At $80 a pop that doesn't come cheap.

GW Legions Imperialis

GW released Legions Imperialis, which is an Epic scale game roughly 8mm that fights in the 30K universe.

Steampunk, Nerf Gun

So I picked up a few Nerf Guns that are going to be converted into some really cool steampunk guns.
The big pistol is called the "Nerf Maverick" and the smaller one is called the "Nerf N-Strike Nite Finder EX-3".  These of course will accompany me on my Halloween adventures.  You can pick the guns up at a lot of toy stores, Ebay, Amazon and many other places.

Here is what I plan on doing.

• Sand off the "NERF" insignia.
• Cut some gouges into it to give it that "battle damage" look
  Take the gun apart for priming and painting.
• Spray Paint it brown
• Drybrush with gold paint.
• Use some other color (metallic aqua, silver or something) for the accent parts
• Seal the parts
• Add clock gears and bits to steampunk it out.
