A while back I posted about Studio Mcvey's cool looking model called the SWR015 T.H.I. Utility Carapac. This was before the big hub bub about all this Sedition War KickStarter stuff. :-)
Well the good news is they are going to be sell these (assuming you have made a pledge for Sedition Wars) for $15. You will also get some extra arms with it including a Flamer and Pulse Cannon! So you will have 4 arms to choose from.
Lowering the price point will certainly be an incentive for some. I also think the figure might actually be quite fun to use in the game. This was one of the figures I had wished to be in the game, so I am pretty happy that they lowered the price a bit.

Khurasan Miniatures Federal Army Crusader Heavy Tracked APC
Khurasan Miniatures recently released another vehicle know as the Federal Army Crusader Heavy APC. The large and heavily armored vehicle comes in 2 flavors, conventional tracks or hovered anti-grav propulsion.
It comes with a pewter rapid fire plasma cannon, poseable commander's hatch, brackets for the missile boxes and close defense gatling gun. The remainder of the kit is resin (the resin castings are extremely clean and require very, very little cleanup).
Each Heavy APC retails for $12.99. If you want to save a little bit of money, you can purchase an entire platoon of 4 vehicles for $47.99
I prefer the tracked version. It reminds me a bit of the old 6mm Maatac Terran Monarch Light War Machine.

Sediton Wars, Drones
Sediton Wars battle for Alabaster Kickstarter is still chugging along raising over 410K. The next stretch goal is 420K. With this new stretch you will get a bunch of fun looking drones.
I thought these are rather cool and could probably work for 15mm. They haven't said if these will be released later separately.

Pride Of Lions 2nd Edition
David and his Dad have just released an updated version of their 15mm Fantasy ruleset Pride Of Lions 2nd Edition (PDF). You can order direct from Splintered Light Miniatures.
This 122 page PDF ruleset seeks to provide a fast and fun game of fantasy mass combat. It is the designer’s belief that the best games result from a combination of simple rules mechanics and the opportunity for the players to make many decisions.
In PRIDE OF LIONS the role of each player is that of the commanding general of the army or warlord of the horde. Magic, and the courage and skills of individual heroes, can affect the game, but the outcome of the battle will depend mainly on the clash of large units of common fighters operating under the general’s orders.

Plasma Blast Games, Main Battle Tank MBT
For those Plasma Blast Games fans out there, here is something to wet your appetite. A rather large 6mm tank or main battle tank (MBT).
Marios is working on another vehicle to transport troops, which will be the Assault Infantry Carrier. From what I have seen thus far, you will not be disappointed.
For those will a little extra cash on hand, why don't you check out the existing Plasma Blast Line. There are some really great designs and would look great on any battlefield.
There is no release date set right now for the MBT.

Trench 2114, Preorders
Just an FYI. The Trench 2114 Panzer Troopers Infantry preorders are up. For their initial orders they are lowering the blister price for
two platoons (about 10-12 troopers) to just $9.00. That's roughly $1.50 less
than they will be normally (starting on August 1st).
Also as a special thank you, anyone ordering during june and july will receive a free pdf copy of the 15mm mass combat rules once completed and before their available in any other form.
These should mix well with Clockwork Goblin Minis when they are released.

McFarlane Halo Micro Ops
McFarlane Toys is bringing the entire Halo universe home with Halo Micro Ops! I talked about this back in February, but I haven't learned much more yet.
McFarlane Toys
expands its long-running, best-selling line of Halo collectibles this
fall, with the addition of Halo Micro Ops. This all-new series consists
of miniature figures, vehicles, and locations from the entire Halo
universe, at roughly 1:100/15mm scale. With such a wide range of product sizes to cover, Micro Ops is available in three different packages. Small carded sets include vehicles like the Warthog and Ghost. Larger carded sets offer bigger vehicles such as the Falcon, or smaller buildings like the bunker from the Halo 3 multiplayer map High Ground.
Larger buildings, including the tower or gate sections of High Ground, are packaged in a Micro Ops small box.

Sedition Wars, KickStarter
Just in case you haven't been paying attention, Sedition Wars is set to crack the 300k mark by this weekend.
For those sitting on the sidelines, it might be a great time to jump in. If you buy in at the Biohazard! level ($100), you're going to get at least 79 figures. For $30 more you can get glow in the dark Strain or the Vanguard infiltrators in optical camo (See thru). They also have a nice set of terrain for $30.
From what I have seen of the rules thus far, game play looks really fun. The Strain (Bad Guys), have a cool mechanism for infecting the Good Guys. So go check it out.

Microworld Games, Terran Expeditionary Force, Lizard Riders
Steve at Microworld Games just sent me a bunch of his new a new 6mm sci-fi army called the Terran Expeditionary Force (TEF). All miniatures were sculpted by Steve “Coolhand” Tyler. He also sent a bunch of the new Lizard Riders. The new figures IMO seem much more detailed and a little better sculpted than the previous batch.
The miniatures I received were extremely crisp in detail and fun to put together. The TEF vehicles come with various turrets and lots of wheels. I used little bits of green putty and glue to attach the wheels. The putty keeps the wheels in place while the glue dries. I tried doing it with just glue, but I found it hard going. The putty worked like a charm.
I will get some closer shots of the figures up this weekend.
Thanks Steve.

CP Models, Ogres
CP Models has come out with some 15mm Ogres that stand roughly 25mm tall. They sort of have a Bob Olley feel to them.
